-Students are encouraged to take notes that will guide them during home practice times. 

Scales, Rhythmic exercise, Etude, Solo piece
-Music for each of these categories is assigned to improve      proficiency in all areas.  

-Range of techniques taught for all levels of playing.
    • Hands (positions, shifting, finger substitutions, vibratos etc.)
    • Bow technique (holds, strokes, placements)
    • Intonation
    • Sound production (core sound vs surface sound)
    • Phrasing/ music theory analysis

Extra Curricular

-I help with guiding students through the application and audition process for all youth orchestra programs in the New England area.  

-Participating in a Youth Orchestra provides a wonderful social and learning environment and adds an impressive edge on college and private school applications.
